Q- What is supplied in chalets?

A- All are fully equipped with a 4-Plate stove with oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Type C all have electric-frying pan. Bedding is supplied but no towels, visitors must bring their own towels. Chalets do not have TVs or electric under-blankets.

Q- Do you have card facilities?

A- Yes we do have speed point services. at the gate and office

Q- Is there a shop?

A- Yes there is a tuck shop that sells wood /charcoal and basic things like sweets and cool drinks.

For other items there are shops 1.7 km from us in town.

Q- Do you have a restaurant on site?

A- No but there are restaurants 1.7 km from us in town

Q- Are there water and electrical points at the camping sites?

A-Yes, our camping sites have taps with spring water and electrical boxes.

Q- Is it going to rain (Summer) or snow (Winter)?

 A- Unfortunately we cannot guarantee dry weather or when it will snow : )

Q- How far are you from Katse Dam and Afriski ?

A- It is 167 km from Meiringskloof to the Katse Dam wall, but note drive takes up to 4 hours one way due to steep inclines with many bends.

It is 94.2 km from Meiringskloof to Afriski Resort, probably 1-1.30 hours due to border control

Q- Do you get day passes for Lesotho?

A- No you will need an up to date passport to enter Lesotho
